Alan Percy the clinical director of the Oxford University counseling service said in an article for the Times Educational Supplement that many students often don’t grasp the true meaning of learning. In his words: “Learning is finding out something that you did not know and struggling with it”. He also said ”It’s almost as if, if they do not know something immediately they feel as though they are failing.”
