Are you a good learner?
Think about these qualities:

What makes a good learner? Which qualities do you have? A good learner:
Is organised (and takes care of all their resources)
Can break a task down into manageable steps
Can record information clearly
Reviews work regularly.
Comes prepared – has all the correct equipment.
Comes prepared – all assignment deadlines met.
Is able to access resources in and out of the classroom
Actively participates.
Always tries.
Makes full use of class time.
Enjoys learning.
Cares about what they are learning and thinks about how they are learning.
Has an interest in the subject matter
Is motivated to learn as much as they can about the subject matter.
Tries to cultivate “beginner’s mind”.
Has good research skills
Is curious.
Is willing to work hard.
Is willing to be taught.
Is respectful and tolerant of new ideas and information.
Doesn’t just study for an exam or for a grade.
Thinks critically.
Is able to question their own beliefs.
Is aware of when they don’t understand.
Is able to communicate what they don’t understand to the teacher
Asks questions, any questions.
Asks thoughtful, appropriate and well formulated questions 
Is a listener, really listens–retains what is being said.
Is an active listener, comes up with a question beyond what they have learned in class.
Listens intently and can make the material interesting for themselves.
Listens, even if they disagree.
Interacts with other students.
Can work independently
Can work well in a team
Understands their strengths in learning
Evaluates their work
Works out appropriate strategies to improve their learning
Can set targets and evaluate progress towards them
Analyzes new information and contrasts it with what they already know.
Tries to apply what they are learning.
Incorporates new knowledge into daily life, activities, and other courses.
Knows how he/she learns best and is creative.
Is creative–able to challenge assumed knowledge.
